Applying to WBJEE 2020
With the list of examination centers, there is other information that one needs to look out for a while filling in the application.
- Check with the eligibility criteria given on the official website (https://wbjeeb.nic.in/WBJEEBCMS/public/home.aspx) to make sure you can apply to WBJEE 2020
- While referring to WBJEE, in addition to location preference for exam center, details about the address, category, PwD category, nationality, and family income are to be filled in
- The photograph given during application submission should not contain tinted spectacles
- Necessary certificates with a given format need to be submitted along with application form

Rules to abide by within WBJEE exam centers
- Make sure you reach the exam center at least 30 minutes before the commencement of exam
- Prior knowledge about the examination center will ease the commuting and will prevent last-minute inconvenience
- No last-minute changes in the exam locations will be entertained
- On any unavoidable/ exceptional situations, the board will look into a change in exam centers allocated
- For a difference in the allocation of exam center, the board’s decision will be final
- Candidates will not be allowed inside the exam hall once the exam commences
- Make sure you reach the exam hall 15 minutes before the test for frisking and document check
Mandatory Documents to be carried
- Admit card of WBJEE 2020
- A color copy of the photograph submitted in the application
- A hard copy of the confirmation page of the application
- Government-issued photo identity card such as Aadhaar card/ Pan card/ Passport/ Voter card /10th standard board examination admit card/school identity card
- Ballpoint pens for marking the answers in OMR sheets
Things not to be carried inside
- Calculators, electronic devices, wristwatches, health bands, and other gadgets are not allowed inside the examination hall
- Candidates are not supposed to bring any printed/handwritten documents including log table
- Materials like writing pad, ruler, geometry/pencil box, pouches, purse, handbags, and goggles are also not allowed inside the hall
- The OMR sheet and question booklet will be sealed and will carry the same number
- Make sure the OMR sheet number and question booklet number are the same
- Don’t forget to mark your signature at the top of the question booklet
- The registration number and question booklet number are to be filled incorrectly in the OMR sheet
- Board will not be responsible for rejections based on any discrepancy in the information provided
- Fill your name in the OMR sheet in Block letters
- Do not leave any stray mark on the OMR sheet for it will be rejected
- The attendance sheet carrying details about name, photograph and roll number are to be cross-checked with the admit card details
- Any conversation or gestures with co-candidates will be considered a misdemeanor
- Upon malpractices, the candidate will be debarred, and his/her candidature will be canceled by Center in charge
- The rough calculation works are to be carried only in the space provided
- No markings are to be found in any other pages other than the space for rough usage

WBJEE 2020 is conducted only once in a year. 2nd February is the date scheduled for the exam this year. The review will be an offline paper with 2 hours in the forenoon and 2 hours in the afternoon. The questions will be from mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
